Electrocardiogram (ECG) examination and fee
Provide comprehensive ECG examination, appropriate treatment, referral and support
Swindon Medical provides a comprehensive ECG examination, and the whole process of heart function test and assessment are conducted by our cardiologist team. The doctor will assess the patient based on the gender, age, symptoms and risk factors, etc., and then decide which kind of investigation should the patient receive, so as to identify the potential heart problem of the patient. Once diagnosed with heart disease, Swindon Medical will provide appropriate treatment, referral and support, in order to provide patients with one-stop specialist outpatient services, avoiding the waiting time of public hospitals and missing the best opportunity for treatment!
Identify potential heart diseases
Swindon’s medical team will assist patients to undergo ECG examinations to assess the frequency and rhythm of the heart. The ECG results can allow doctors to identify heart problems, including irregular heartbeats, congenital heart defects, and heart valve diseases. The doctor can also understand whether there is cardiac hypertrophy through the ECG results.
High accuracy with advanced devices
Swindon Medical adopts advanced medical equipment, which enhances the accuracy of diagnosis, improves the efficiency of treatment comprehensively, and strives to minimize the error value of the examination, so that the treatment can be more effective and more targeted.
Private wards ensure privacy
Patients need to remove their clothing for the ECG so that the staff can place the electrode patches on them. Because of this, Swindon Medical has a designated ECG room to provide a comfortable and quiet environment, allowing patients to undergo examinations in full privacy.
Swindon Medical provides the following ECG diagnoses:
Resting Electrocardiogram (ECG)
Resting ECG can observe whether there is any abnormality in the “resting state” of the heart, such as arrhythmia, atrial and ventricular hypertrophy, or myocardial hypoxia.
24-hour ECG (Holter Monitor)
24-hour ECG is used to detect arrhythmia (such as abnormal heartbeat, too fast, too slow, etc.). It is absolutely safe. The recording instrument is attached to the body for continuous recording over a longer period of time, ranging from 48 to 72 hours. The portable heart rhythm recorder can intermittently record the patient’s heart rhythm in several weeks, which is very helpful for diagnosing patients with infrequent symptoms.
Comprehensive referral and support services
Swindon Medical accepts referral cases from the Hospital Authority so that patients need not experience the long waiting time in public hospitals. We also provide referral services for patients. We also have our in-house laboratory and can obtain the test results in the shortest time. Patients in need can get medical treatment in time, so as not to delay and miss the golden time for treatment.
